In addition, we time since onset also generated differences. Our study shows achievement is protective factor against disease, acting source intellectual enrichment promotes reserve Further longitudinal studies assessing progression prognosis would be useful order to determine specific importance these strategies could enhance performance neuropsychological assessment tasks.

Disconnection as a mechanism for cognitive dysfunction in multiple sclerosis.
Disconnection of cognitively important processing regions by injury to the interconnecting white matter provides a potential mechanism for cognitive dysfunction in multiple sclerosis. The contribution of tract-specific white matter injury to dysfunction in different cognitive domains in patients with multiple sclerosis has not previously been studied. We apply tract-based spatial statistics (TB...

OBJECTIVE To examine the association between 25-hydroxyvitamin D (25[OH]D) levels and the risk of multiple sclerosis (MS) in blood samples collected prospectively and during gestation. METHODS In this nested case-control study, 2 population-based biobanks with 291,500 samples from 164,000 persons collected since 1975 in the northern half of Sweden were used. We identified prospectively collec...
